As an artist and educator, there is no niche. Nilas has been relentlessly exploring fine art and editorial portraits, lifestyle and branding photoshoots, and capturing authentic memories at weddings since 2016.

With ​over 300 weddings captured and many more sessions for couple-specific content, we've got a designated second site for lovers and the like.

This is the alternative wedding photographer option. Experience straightforward, laid-back, and simplified process yielding top-quality, natural, authentic imagery. We'd also love to connect you with other awesome vendors, if you're still on the hunt.

Portland's Premiere
Photo Studio

Our little family owns and manages Cobalt Studios PDX, Portland's main photo studio, where Michael (Nilas) also serves as the primary in-house photographer. Our space is also rented by fellow creatives and used as a community and event hub for camera operators, models, and many other artists.
